How to use RSS feeds

Make checking this blog VERY easy. Subscribe to the RSS feed. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Here's some information about RSS from Wikipedia. There's a lot more here than you need to know. All you're interested in is learning how to subscribe to a feed from a browser or newsreader.

There are many ways to subscribe to an RSS feed. You can do it through your Google home page (assuming you've set up one). You can use a browser. I like Flock best.

Or, you can use a free (!) dedicated newsreader (application), such as:

For JRN374 and JRN378 students, I can show you how to do this in class. For MED581 students, well, you're on your own--but I'm happy to help you if you want to stop by my office.

Remember: You don't have to use RSS to read this blog. RSS simply makes keeping track of it much easier.
