I think the point is Google search position more than hits.

Go the the main weblog (link at the top) and read the new material on this. Jay Allen’s script kills this stuff dead.

It’s only going to get worse. I had about 5 in 2 months, 7 over the weekend, and 20 this morning. Allen’s script killed those 20.

I am having the same problem. It is also concentrated on two posts from several months ago. Are they trying to hide their spam? If so, whats the point to that since spam is meant to be seen. I keep banning the IP and thye keep coming back.
