    “acline - OK, this guy is speaking like he’s giving a speech, i.e. scripted.”

    With apologies to the 15-Minute Hamlet, maybe he was given the following instructions:

    “Speak the speech exactly as I pronounced it to you… trippingly on the tongue; whole as t’were… a mirror up to nature.”

    I didn’t listen to all of the speeches, but a few of the ones I did were very scripty. Necessarily so, I suppose, such as the woman taking about getting rooked by the Supreme Court.

    Ethan… Yes, scripted is good. But sounding scripted is not so good. At that particular moment, the DNC was doing a town-hall style Q&A. So sounding scripted was particularly annoying :-)
