SMS becomes MSU...
Just a few minutes ago, the Missouri House of Representatives voted 120-35 to pass the name change for SMS. It won't be official until the Governor signs the legislation, and it won't take effect until 28 August 2005. But it sure feels like Missouri State University around here this afternoon :-) I expect Governor Blunt will sign the bill on 17 March--the 100th anniversary of this university. I'll be changing the name on Rhetorica this week.
