Ask the White House…
I missed the first “Ask the White House” internet session. As I indicated a couple of times last week, I was swamped with student papers. Bob Kemper’s article will give you a taste of the (in)action. Better yet, read the transcript and watch White House chief of Staff Andrew Card swipe at softballs.
This is pure message control–one of the most important jobs of any modern White House staff. There is no live contact with the citizen. Questions are screened. And that’s exactly the way it should be.
